About Us

Stacey DeBroux lives in Louisville, CO with her firefighter husband, two boys and fun loving mountain dog.  Stacey is a licensed school counselor who is passionate about social emotional learning and teaching kids tools and strategies to build resiliency and to also increase overall mental health and wellness.  

Stacey believes passionately that strong communities help build resilient children. Our local communities have been impacted by significant tragedies recently that truly require supports to empower our youth and continue to allow them to embrace a sense of hopefulness.  In addition to local impacts, we are currently in a global pandemic and many of today's students have see the best and worst in the world today.  Achievements in technology and the flood of social media apps have exposed students to a great deal of devastation and heartache - both in their personal lives and the world around them.  Many of our local school aged kids are suffering from a heightened sense of fear and anxiety and lack concrete coping strategies to support them through trauma and uncertain times.  Too many of our students resort to self-harm, negative social media influences, and a variety of other unhealthy coping strategies.  

I am passionate about changing this dynamic!  We need to pave a different path for youth!  Trailblazer Counseling provides evidence based classes and groups designed to support social/emotional learning and growth.  The more students we can reach, the more new pathways will be formed for additional students.  We are creating SEL TRAILBLAZERS!!!!
